Francois is a civil engineer in architecture (University of Louvain, Belgium) and holds an MBA from the Vlerick-Leuven-Ghent Management School. His career started by working for Lafarge and Total in Paris. He later joined Hamon, a world leader in heat transfer and air pollution, and moved to Goodex (later Ariba) to develop strategic sourcing activities. In 2005, he joined Dexia Luxembourg as internal consultant in charge of COO projects such as real estate, purchasing and new business development.
Co-founded Enerdeal in 2009 with the drive to contribute to a sustainable future as well as taking on the challenge of entrepreneurship.
