As part of our recruitment process, EDP (hereinafter “we”) collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. We are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use that data and to meeting our data protection obligations under EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Who has access to your data
Your information will be shared internally with members of the HR and recruitment team, hiring managers, and IT staff (where access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles).
5. How long we keep your data
If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain your data for 1 year after the recruitment process has ended, unless you allow us explicitly to keep it for longer to consider you for future roles. If you are successful, your data will form part of your employee record.
6. How do we protect your personal data?
We use a variety of physical, technical and organisational security standards, technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, destruction or damage to an appropriate level depending on the sensitivity of the information.
We take steps to limit access to your Personal Data to those persons who need to have access for one of the purposes listed in this Privacy Notice. Furthermore, we contractually ensure that any third party processing your Personal Data provides for confidentiality and integrity of your data in a secure way.

You have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your data;
- Request correction or erasure of your data;
- Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- Withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, insofar the processing is based on your consent;
To lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, if you believe this is necessary (https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be/citizen).
