We are delighted to announce that last week, Enerdeal received the top honour, the Jury Prize, for sustainable infrastructure at the Green Solutions Awards, held at Tour & Taxis. Presented by Construction21 – International, this award recognises exceptional solutions in buildings, neighbourhoods and infrastructure that contribute to the fight against climate change.
About the winning project
Our head office in Zaventem is equipped with solar panels and electric vehicle charging points, which collectively save around 45 tonnes of CO2 per year. In addition, the facility includes a 130 kWh battery for energy storage, managed by artificial intelligence. This initiative not only ensures that we operate at 100 per cent net-zero emissions, but also proves that sustainability can be both cost-effective and replicable.
As the official winner announced on 19 September, our AI-enhanced solar energy management system for electric vehicle solar chargers will be automatically nominated for the International Grand Prix for Sustainable Infrastructure. This event forms part of the COP28 climate conference, which will take place in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023.
